Starsplosion is derived from the "Big Bang" and our creative minds coming to life. The sun on the top of the piece, with the meteorites "exploding" from the sides, portrays this perfectly. Our chunky jewelry brings to light that we are all children of the stars, and are all a part of something bigger.
The center piece is a Tektite, which is derived of burned glass from terrestrial debris. So basically, something burned in the skies and dropped down to Earth to give you this bad-ass looking piece. The oldest Tektites range around 35 million years old (since crashing). The actual age of each Tektite is unknown, because they can be from the dawn of the beginning.
The meteorites emitting from the sides can be found worldwide, typically from Russia or South America. Meteorites are very sought after, and collectors from around the globe are always seeking for them. These meteorites have crashed around a few thousand years ago, but the actual age is unknown.
*All bales on each jewelry piece are made of Tibetan silver*
